3D modelling and design
sketch:model — You describe it. We draw it properly.
You describe it. We draw it properly.
You do not need CAD skills, measurements or the right words. Bring a photo, a scribble or a description of what the thing has to do, and we work out the rest.

Model : object
An oversized chess set, modelled from scratch and printed here. The left is the actual model we built; the right is what came off the printers.
More than a machine and a file.
What you actually walk away with.
- 01
A makeable 3D model from a sketch, photo, broken part or rough idea
You bring the reference and explain the job. We fill in the measurements and design decisions between them.
- 02
A design file you can adjust, reuse or take to another maker
The model is built cleanly so it remains useful after this job, rather than becoming a throwaway print file.
- 03
Modelling, test prints and the finished piece under one roof
When a design needs testing, we can print it, check the fit and revise the model without a supplier hand-off.
Three steps, and you hear from us at each one.
No black box, no silent weeks.
- 01
Understand the job
We start with the finished result: a part that fits, a prototype you can test, a gift that feels personal or a display piece that looks right.
- 02
Build the model cleanly
We build the model at the right size and with the making process in mind, so it remains useful after the first print.
- 03
Check before making
We review the model against what you asked for, then either print it in our workshop or hand over the agreed files.

Not for us
What we turn down.
Structural or load-bearing parts, anything with a vehicle-safety role, medical devices, and any job where a failure could hurt someone.
We say so at the quote stage rather than taking the work and adding small print afterwards. Where we can, we will point you at a better route.
Who asks us for this, and what for.
Three groups this comes up with most.
Local businesses and makers
- Turn product ideas, counter displays and fixtures into ready-to-make design files
- Prepare small-run hardware, jigs and branded pieces for printing
- Clean up or adapt existing files before ordering a physical part
Clubs, schools and community groups
- Design custom trophies, badges, plaques and teaching aids from a plain-English description
- Create repeatable designs for events without needing design skills in-house
- Adapt one design into named, numbered or themed variants
Repair, hobby and home projects
- Model replacement clips, handles, spacers, covers and workshop helpers
- Translate sketches, photos and rough measurements into printable parts
- Improve weak or awkward downloaded files before printing
